Based on the picture by John William Waterhouse, this five and a half inch miniature porcelain doll captures the tragic Ophelia. She is dressed in a medieval style gown of light blue silk trimmed with gold braid.

Her underdress is of deep rose silk and the detail on the bodice is hand painted. Under her gown she wears pointed toe slippers of real leather. Ophelia has porcelain head, torso, lower legs and lower arms.

The rest of her body is soft and wired for 'poseability'.
